The Highwood Theatre was created with a mission to bring theatre to the community. Today, the Highwood Theatre still values the community aspect of the theatre and continues to get involved in any way possible. Learn about some of the different organizations we support.

National Alliance of Mental Illness

 

The National Alliance of Mental Illness is a national organization dedicated to bettering the lives of those who struggle with mental illness. The Highwood Theatre recently participated in the National Alliance of Mental Illness's Walk for Mental Health. We helped to raise money and promote awareness of mental health issues.

Toys for Tots

Toys for Tots is an organization run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve. The program helps to collect and distribute toys to children whose families cannot afford to purchase holiday gifts. This winter, the Highwood Theatre will be collecting toys to donate to the Toys for Tots program. Toys will be collected at the theatre until December 20th.
